Some Thoughts On Dining In Bahia

Seafood dish at Armistad

One of the better more reasonable dining establishments is called Muelle Uno (which means Dock 1).  They have several good cameron (shrimp) dishes there and the portions are plentiful.

Another place we thought was excellent but a little higher priced was the Puerto Armistad Restaurant and Marina. Had the best mojito ever there. They went out and picked the mint fresh. You should visit both places for a contrasting experience.

We found a really nice hotel down by the bay...looked first class.  We decided to eat there and it was very good.  As bathrooms have been a big topic of discussion on this blog thus far, get this...the fancy hotel bathrooms didn't have toilet seats. Just cool porcelain. Go figure that one. That hotel was La Herradura Hotel.

You can find several varieties of foods here from the obvious Ecuadorian meal to pizza to Chinese to Mexican even some American soup and sandwiches. I'm sure there are others that we didn't have time to find.
